
London-based DJ/producer/remixer, Leonardo GloVibes Abbate has earned multi-faceted skills from almost 20 years experience. Growing up in Italy, he began playing at some of the most influential clubs and radio stations at the age of 16. Later on, he decided to start producing music and after several solid tracks, he was asked to do a remix for the legendary Robert Owens.
His track, “Cod Liver Oil,” was remixed and launched by Wally Lopez as the opening track at Space, Ibiza in 2008. In addition to his original productions, recent notable remixes include, “Troya,” upcoming on Noir Music, “Midnight Magic,” upcoming on Peppermint Jam, and “Sikk My Washing Machine.” Leonardo has also collaborated with vocalists such as Michelle Weeks, Angie Brown, Wendy Lewis and Kaya (Boney M.), India (Nuyorican Soul, MAW Records) and Holly Johnson, the legendary vocalist from Frankie goes to Hollywood.
As a DJ, Leonardo is a regular resident at Ministry of Sound, The Egg, AkA, Fire, A:M, Area, Heaven, Barcode, Megawoof, Pacha and more, and has shared the decks with such DJs as Rulin, Felix Da Housecat, Roger Sanchez, Steve Lawler, Layo and Bushwaka, Shapeshifters, ATFC, Little Louie Vega, Copyright, Marc Romboy, Pete Tong, Afrojack, Swedish House Mafia and Bob Sinclair.
